Every member is granted two characters upon admission. A third character may be obtained through Julius' Emporium. Once admitted to the group a second and third character may be introduced at any time. If you desire no more than two and wish to replace a present character, character substitution is available for purchase.
As a general rule, no previously existing Harry Potter Universe characters are permitted to join the group. All characters introduced to Mount Greylock must be original to the universe. Additionally, no OCs presently active in other groups are eligible for acceptance. That said, characters that have been created for non-Harry Potter groups that are currently inactive may be repurposed for Mount Greylock. Genderbent or otherwise reimagined OCs may be reallocated with the understanding that they are a separate entity- no cut and paste OCs! Should the group become oversaturated with repurposed characters, this will no longer be made an option.

Please be as detailed as possible when describing your student’s history. Consider discussing their early childhood, significant life-altering events, their acceptance into Ilvermorny, their feelings about the wand selection & sorting ceremony, their previous years spent attending Ilvermorny, magical or mundane passions & interests, their thoughts & feelings about the future, etc. Biographies must span 250 - 500 words.

Visit Mount Greylock's DeviantArt front page and press the Join our Group button. Join Requests must be made in the following format. Any deviations from this format will be automatically declined.

Press Submit Request. Following the application period, applicants will either be accepted, declined, or pending. Those pending have been accepted on the grounds that the application requires adjustments. Adjustments are non-negotiable, and acceptance will be declined if there is a failure to meet these changes. Those who have been declined acceptance to the group may receive feedback via group note or DM. Inquiries by way of the DeviantArt front page will be disregarded. Upon acceptance, submit applications to the Pupils folder.
